api scholarship

Each year, API awards scholarships to deserving candidates from our Scholarship Fund. The amounts are determined by funds raised from two annual events: the API Golf Tournament and the API Chili Cook-Off. Preferential consideration is given to students entering or pursuing a career in the Petroleum Industry, specifically those who are related to active members of our chapter; however, other applicants may be considered as well.

Requirements

Must be a Wyoming resident
Recipients are only eligible for the API Scholarship four (4) times.
Fill out the application completely, either typed or written in a legible hand in blue or black ink.*
Attach an official grad transcript and typed written statement including post-graduate plans and estimated cost for education each year.*
Any additional information the applicant feels may be helpful to us in considering the application.
Please do not staple any papers.
Final deadline for applications is May 31st, 2024
